Time-bomb becomes "Conviction"
We’ve re-titled the show formerly known as Time-bomb. Please welcome Conviction.
Why the change?
We began to feel that ‘Time-bomb’, although it suggests the imminent explosion of the effects of the climate emergency and the clock inexorably ticking down, is too distant from the heartbeat of the show.
‘Conviction’ tells us it’s about a trial; it tells us that views are deeply held, maybe leading to a narrowing of the mind; it tells us about strength of purpose; and it asks us, the audience as jury, to decide the ending. What do we believe? Do we act on our beliefs? Do we convict or acquit the defendant?
What's next for "Conviction"?
Next up we’re at the Leeds Conservatoire for a week’s development residency at the invitation of Matthew Bugg, Senior Lecturer in Musical Theatre.
We’ll show the work on Friday February 20th at 3.00 pm.
